Supermarine Spitfire, it is in the world of military aviation true legend, which have significantly contributed in the II. World War II the Allied victory over Germany. After the war, August 13, 1945 at 17 o'clock landed Fighter Wing 54's Spitfires L. F. Mk.IX in Prague's Ruzyne airport. The aircraft will gradually taken on charge with three Czechoslovak fighter squadrons and their number increased in 1946 to a total of 76 pieces. The book describes in detail the shift in Czechoslovakia and the Spitfire's service in the Air Force until 1948, when they were removed from service and sold.
